Costumes for the Whole Family – Part III

I knew it–you just couldn’t wait for the gripping conclusion to the epic tale of costumes for the whole family! I hope my regular readers will excuse my whole being-sidetracked-due-to-engagement-itis as explained in yesterday’s post.

Anyhow, back to our regular discussion of costuming! Let’s get to it.

The Incredibles. This suggestion comes from my friend Kelly, who heads to many conventions. Since The Incredibles are a family and the movie lends itself to family entertainment, it’s an automatically awesome costume idea. You can also adapt this costume suggestion to include pets.

World of Warcraft. For families with older children, this idea is an epic hit. It’s no secret that certain parents (and step-parents, ahem) enjoy playing some WoW from time to time. Or every second of every day. Anyway, since some families use Warcraft as a means of keeping in touch or simply gaming together, it’s a great idea. Costumes can range from the expensive elaborate outfits sometimes seen at conventions to the simple foam exclamation point/question mark revealing one as a quest giver. Quest givers may be specific to the game or they may be generic medieval fantasy costumed folks.
